Toronto anti LTTE Tamils want JVP to join MR government
By Hasaka Rathnamalala from Toronto
About hundred and fifty Sri Lankan expatriates gathered to listen JVP MPs Anura kumara Dissanayake and Ramalingham Chandrasekaran on Saturday October 25th in Scarborough Civic center, Toronto, Canada. Event was organized by JVP committee in Canada.
Even though every one expected to hear JVP vision on the Indian intervention and how to face the Indian challenge at this very moment; two JVP MPs fail to explain their party’s stand on the issue. Instead they kept repeating the history of the conflict and how everything will be solved in an equal society under JVP.
Also Two MPs had a hard time explaining especially Tamil listeners why they left MR government. But answers seem not good enough to make them happy. Majority of the audience who were anti LTTE elements in Tamil Diaspora want JVP to join MR government and help to finish LTTE terrorism.
